03 April 2008 Standings Updated
Pablo Huffaker continues to lead the world standings. He has the second highest total points (TP) and average points (AP), putting him ahead of Jimmy Creten and Neil Elliot. John Seasock moves up to 21st after his win in Las Vegas. Sean Duhon enters the CFP finals in Pocatello, Idaho this weekend in 1st in CFP Points and 7th in the World. Drivers who have their Races total in blue have met the 20 race minimum and will remain in the rankings for the rest of the year.
18 March 2008 Huffaker takes over first
Due to a busy schedule, we were unable to update the standings last week. Neil Elliot had taken the lead in the standings, but he is back down to second as Pablo Huffaker has taken over the world lead. 4 March 2008 Pauken and Creten Dual in the Desert
Charlie Pauken picked up 3 big wins in Tucson, defeating Dawn Creten (twice), Jimmy Creten, and Linsey Weenk during the 4-race weekend. Despite only 1 win, Jimmy Creten regained the #1 spot in the world. Pauken stays in fourth while teammate Pablo Huffaker slips to 6th after a first round loss in El Paso.
Doug Noelke has been on fire on the Monster Nationals tour and completed another big weekend going 1-1 in 3 events in Beaumont, Texas. Rick Long and Mark Hall picked up the other wins in a start-studded field that also included Geremie Dishman, Andy Hoffman, and Devin Jones. Across state, Tom Meents defeated Candice Jolly in the finals in El Paso.
Up north in Calgary, Bobby Parr and Cam McQueen split the 4-race weekend. Parr joins the standings in 36th. Andy Slifko and Alex Blackwell both swept their 3-race weekends in Macon, GA and Tupelo, MS respectively. Slifko moves up to 42nd, while Blackwell is now ranked 16th.
Nathan Weenk was the story in Providence, as he won 1 once and made the finals 3 times in the 4-race in Rhode Island. Jim Koehler, Adam Anderson, and Damon Bradshaw were also winners on the chicago-style track.
Finally, Jon Zimmer and Rob French earned victories in CFP Winston-Salem, as each defeated rookie Bigfoot driver Jerry Dalton in the finals. Late results from Monroe, LA, Kalispell, MT, Waterloo, IA and Enid, OK have also been added to the standings.

6 January 2008 2007 Final Standings have been posted

The official final 2007 WMTRL standings have been posted. Mark Hall officially defends his championship after an even more impressive season this year. Mark won 37 of his 53 events and made the final round at 82% of his races. Keith Sturgeon is the 2007 Rookie of the Year, finishing 26th with 14 wins in 25 finals.
Below are some statistics and Top Tens for the 2007 season. We'll be getting the current 2008 standings and results to date updated later this week along with a new look for the website.
